HPV can cause oropharyngeal cancers
For most people, HPV clears on its own. For men and women who don't clear the virus, diagnoses of HPV-related oropharyngeal cancers can occur at any age between ~20 and ~80 years. The median age of diagnoses is 63 among women and 61 among men.
