Median Ages of HPV-related Head and Neck Cancers Diagnosed Each Year for Women and Men

HPV can cause certain types of head and neck cancers

For most people, HPV clears on its own. For those who don’t clear the virus, diagnoses of certain types of HPV-related head and neck cancers can occur at any age between ~20 and ~80 years. The median age of diagnoses is 63 among women and 61 among men.
